Charity Fund Raiser Golf Competition
The Daggers Trust is holding a Charity Golf Day Fund Raiser at the Langdon Hills Golf & Country Club on Wednesday 9th April. All proceeds will go to the Daggers Trust as part of the Match Fund required to release further funding from the Essex and Southend Sports Trust (EASST). The funds are used to offer free weekly fun football sessions for local children.
The golf competiiton is an eighteen hole four ball competition whcih will be followed by an evening meal, with a guest speaker and auction of memorabilia.
Click on the links below to register and pay. We are accepting entries from both teams of four and individuals. Anyone who is unable to play, can register to attend the evening functiion only.
We are looking for sponsors for the event, including: The Longest Drive, Nearest the Hole and Individual Hole Sponsors.

Thursday Welcome Club
Meets Every Thursday
At the Daggers Clubhouse
The Thursday Welcome Club is open to all members of the local community aged 40, or over. The group meets every Thursday throughout the year at the Dagenham & Redbridge FC Clubhouse from 1030 until 1230.
The group is a friendly warm room activity where people can meet, have a cup of tea or coffee, chat, make friends and join in any activities or visits.
Recently the group had breakfast at the Pipen Major and last year went to Battersea on the Uber boats. Trips to the Ongar Steam Railway, Southend and the New Vic Toy Museum are planned for later in the year.
The club is free, but members normally donate a £1 each week to add to their general use kitty.
