Golf Day 2026

At the end of last season, the Club and the Trust organised a very successful Golf Day at Langdon Hills Golf Club. The golfers were joined by members of the Daggers First Team, and staff. The funds raised all went to the Daggers Trust to support thier work in the local community.

This season we will be holding a similar event at the Ingrebourne Links and Country Club,  less than 15 minutes from Victoria Road on Wednesday 16th September with a first Tee off time of 0930.

The day will begin from 0830 with a bacon roll, tea and coffee.

Teams of four will play a 'Scramble'.  In this game, foursomes compete against one another for the lowest cumulative score, by hitting on from the best shot until the ball is in the hole. The group scoring the lowest at the end of the round is the winner. Each player drives and the best drive is chosen. From the spot where the chosen drive lands, all the players take their second shot and the process continues until the ball is in the hole.

There will be additional prizes for "Nearest The Pin" and  "The Longest Drive".

The match will be followed by drinks in the bar, the presentation of prizes, a two course meal,  a guest speaker (TBC), a raffle and an auction. All proceeds from the day will go to the Daggers Trust.

We have reserved spaces for 12 teams, but could possibly accommodate up to 24.

Each team will consist of three players, plus 1 Daggers First Team Player, or Staff Member.
