Women & Girls' Football
Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies and Girls FC
Over the last three years the Daggers Trust, funded by the National League Trust, the Football Association and others, has developed a female section with teams playing in the Essex County Women's and Girls' Leagues.
The leagues commenced in September and a variety of opportunities exist for young women and girls to participate in football through the Trust, either as a member of a team or just for fun.

Sunday 1/11/20 U12s win 3-0 in the League and U15s win 8-3 in a friendly
The Daggers' Under 12s continued to maintain their unbeaten record and stay 4 points clear at the top of the league with a 3-0 win away to Frinton.
The Under 15s beat Aveley 8-3 in a friendly.
Both teams held a minutes silence prior to kickoff.
The Under 13s game was unfortunately called off. With the onset of 'Lockdown 2', these may well be the girls' last fixtures until after Christmas.
Sunday 25/10/20 U13 Girls record emphatic win, 7-0 away from home
The Daggers Girls U13 squad scored an emphatic 7-0 win on Sunday, away from home to Canvey Island Blue U13.
The U12 squad, also playing away, dropped points for the first time this season with a 2-2 draw at Rayleigh, but still top the table after 5 games played.
For the second week in a row, the U15s didn't have a league game as a result of a waterlogged pitch.
Sunday 18/10/20 U12 Girls record emphatic win, 9-0 away from home
The Daggers Girls' Under 12s continued their 100% start to the season with an emphatic 9-0 away win at Writtle Minors to maintain their place at the top of Division 12A in the Essex County Girls' League.
The other teams had a weekend off from the League this weekend. All of the teams are back in action next weekend with the Under 15s at home to Bowers & Pitsea Girls U15 and the other teams playing away.
Sunday 11/10/20 U12 Girls record another win, but U13's lose 3-1
The Under 15s had a week off, but the two younger squads had home fixtures at May and Baker's Sports Ground this afternoon. The U12s made it three from three and remain in second place in the U12 Division A of the Essex County County Girls League on goal difference only. After a goalless first half, the Daggers ran out 2-1 winners against Tigers Girls U12 Black. Still sitting at the top of the division is Leigh Ramblers U12 Girls Blue who also won 2-1 today. The U13s lost 3-1 to Baddow Spartak Pumas who move one place above the Daggers U13 girls.
Next weekend the Under 13s and Under 15s both get a week off. The U12s take on Writtle Minors Y who are fifth in the table with 3 points, after one win from three games played.
Sunday 4/10/20 - U12 Girls win, but mixed results on a wet and windy Sunday in Essex
The Under 12 team made it two wins from two, as they beat Lakeside Girls 1-0 away from home on Sunday. Next week they are due to play at Home against Tigers Girls U12 Black, kicking off at 2pm. In the table, Leigh Ramblers are on top with six points. They too have won both their games, but have a superior goal difference. Tigers are in third place, also on six points but they have played three games, winning two and losing one.
The Under 13 team played away to Grays Athletic U13 Black and went down 3-0. The girls are hoping to bounce back against Baddow Spartak Pumas next weekend at home, kicking off at 2pm.
The Under 15 team's game against St Clere's Girls was scheduled to be played at May & Bakers, but the game was called off on Sunday morning because of the condition of the pitch. The U15s are not scheduled to play next weekend.
Sunday 27/09/20 - U12 Girls start off their season with a win
Following on from the successes of the two other Daggers Girls' teams last weekend, the Under 12 team began their season with a 7-2 home win against Springfield Girls at May and Bakers on Sunday.
Unfortunately the other two teams couldn't repeat their achievements of last weekend and both lost narrowly at home. The Under 13s went down 2-1 to Great Danes and the Under 15's lost 4-2 to Aveley Girls.
Next weekend the U12s are away to Lakeside, the U13s are away to Grays and the U15s are at home to St Clere's.
Sunday 20/09/20 - Girls off to a great start to the season
Wins for both the under 13s and under 15s in their first games of the 20-21 season. 4-0 & 3-2 respectively. The U13s were at home against Braintree and the U15s beat Tigers away. Both teams are at home next Sunday, together with the Under 12s who get their season underway against Springfield at May & Bakers.
Season 2019-20 Awards
The season ended abruptly for the Dagenham and Redbridge FC Girls' teams in March of this year. Lockdown put a block on training, playing and the traditional end of season "Presentation Evening" at The Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Thankfully the girls have returned to training and competing in the Essex County Girls' League and the Under 11's were finally able to receive their awards from Club Chairman, Paul Squibb at training this week. Awards were made to every player including the "Manager's Player", the "Players' Player" and "Most Improved Player" to name just three.
The other teams will be receiving their awards shortly.
Daggers Girls' training hard every Wednesday
The Daggers girls' teams (Under 12, 13 & 15) are currently training every Wednesday evening at Goals Dagenham and last week was no exception, as the above pictures show.
All three girls' teams play on Sundays in the Essex County Girls' League. Home matches normally kick off at 2pm and are played at May & Bakers Sports Club, Dagenham Road, Romford. Details of the girls' upcoming fixtures can be found by clicking here.
